German Society of Dental, Oral and Craniomandibular Sciences

"The German Society of Dental, Oral and Craniomandibular Sciences(DGZMK) was founded in 1859. Today more than 11.000 dentists, biologists, and persons of related fields in natural sciences are registered as members. The GSDOM represents all aspects of science and research within dentistry and influences the practice of dentistry in Germany.

In accordance with today's trend toward specialization in dentistry and oral medicine the GSDOM integrates numerous specialized suborganizations. In particular these are the many study groups and scientific societies, that have developed out of the GSDOM, still being closely related to their mother society."
