Danish Veterinary and Food
Administration
"The Danish Veterinary and Food
Administration (DVFA) is part of the Ministry of Family
and Consumer Affairs. Administration, development, co-ordination
and the formation of rules and regulations take place in the
head office of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration
in Mørkhøj near Copenhagen.
Food control and veterinary inspection
are handled by ten regional veterinary and food control centres.
The regional veterinary and food control authorities function
as local knowledge centres and provide direct information
and consultancy to consumers, livestock owners, enterprises
and practising veterinarians."
