Digest Publication History

The GreenFacts publication process is designed to ensure as high a degree of objectivity as possible.

First draft

The draft of this Digest was prepared by GreenFacts Team and completed in May 2002

Pre-reviewing

The draft was revised and commented by several experts from environmental organizations and industrial companies in June 2002.

Peer Review

The final draft was peer reviewed by 3 independent scientists selected by the GreenFacts Scientific Board (see our peer review form) and final corrections were added under the supervision of the GreenFacts Scientific Board in November 2002.

Publication

Publication was authorized by the President of the GreenFacts Scientific Board in February 2003.

Updates or subsequent post-publication revisions

No update or revision at present.

This Digest will be replaced by a summary of the upcomming Fourth Assessment Report of the IPCC to be released in 2007.

Translations

All levels translated into French (April 2003), Spanish (December 2003) and German (April 2004).
