Chloracne is a rare acne-like skin condition caused by exposure to halogenated aromatic hydrocarbons (such as dioxins).

Chloracne can start with excessive oiliness of the skin. This leads to the appearance of whiteheads, blackheads and uninflamed nodules and cysts. Skin may become thicker, flake and peel.
