The material content of the texts on Level 3 is directly sourced from
 "Global Biodiversity Outlook 2", a report by the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) produced in 2006 by a large panel of scientists.

The Levels 1 & 2 were written by the GreenFacts editorial team.

First draft

The first draft of this study was produced by the GreenFacts Editorial Team on 2 March 2007.

Second draft

The second draft of this study was produced on 20 March 2007 by the GreenFacts Editorial Team.

Preliminary and Peer review

The final draft of this study was produced in April 2007 by GreenFacts after peer review by four independent scientists selected by the GreenFacts Scientific Board (see our  peer review form).

These reviewers included for instance:

• Dr David Cooper - Scientific Technical and Technological Matters Officer, Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity
• Robert Hoft - Environmental Affairs Officer, Scientific Assessment Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
